The photo above is a rejected idea that I created but I decided
to change the layout and the background photo as I felt it was not appealing to
my target audience. I chose a different picture for the background for the
feature article because the original photo I chose was one I felt didn't suit
the brand identity of my magazine. The photo of this rejected idea above has
less colours within the photo and the lighting of the photo does not look as
natural as the photo I have chosen for my feature article. I also changed the layout
of the feature article because the new layout allows me to fit more of an
interview on the feature page. Overall the reason I changed the feature page is
because it didn't appeal to the target audience and that it helps represent my
brand identity.
